Private Equity Professionals & Management Team

The Senior Management Team of KRI Partners has 50+ years of experience in the real estate, private equity and lending arenas where they have been involved in transactions valued at more than $2 billion. In addition, our private equity professionals have a combined 50+ years of hands-on property ownership and/or management experience. That experience includes managing more than 15,000 apartment units in the states of Florida, Ohio and Pennsylvania. They utilize this experience to seek out superior investment projects, to analyze potential transactions from a practical perspective, and to develop a comprehensive, strategic plan for each project.

Kenneth Gee - Private Equity Professionals

Kenneth A. Gee

Managing Member

Mr. Gee is the founder and managing partner of KRI Partners and the KRI group of companies. He has more than 24 years of significant real estate, banking, private equity transaction and principal investing experience. Throughout his career, he has been involved in transactions valued in excess of $2.0 billion, much of which has included the acquisition, management and financing of various multi-family real estate projects as well as playing a significant role as a member of due diligence and transaction structure planning teams for several private equity firms specializing in the small and middle markets.

AMY L. COLETTI

Vice President of Operations - Florida

Amy began her career in property management in 1994. Since then, she has managed numerous types of apartment communities including new construction, student housing, senior communities, LIHTC, conventional, HUD, subsidized, and even historic properties. During her 20+ year career, she has worked for some of the largest property management companies (20,000 units+) as well as various smaller property management companies.

Because she started her career in a property management position and worked her way to the top, she has learned this business from the ground up. We believe that experience puts her in the perfect position to be an outstanding mentor, coach, and leader to the KRI operations team.

Amy’s credentials include numerous honors from the Bay Area Apartment Association as well as many of her previous employers for excellence in the industry. Finally, she currently serves as a Board Director for the Bay Area Apartment Association since 2013 and is a member of both the Florida Apartment Association and The National Apartment Association.

KIM MIRUS

Controller - Corporate

Kim joined the KRI team in 2016 as an assistant Controller and has responsibility for all aspects of our internal and external financial reporting as well as continued development of internal controls and back office processes.

Prior to joining KRI, Kim began her career in the financial and accounting area in 1995. Since that time, she has held several positions with various regional and Fortune 500 companies where her responsibilities included all areas of accounting, financial reporting, and budgeting while utilizing her operational background to help integrate back office processes, technology, and internal controls into the company's operations.

KATE ADAMS, CAM

Regional Manager Tampa

Kate joined KRI’s team in 2017 as a Regional Manager in Tampa, Florida. She started her career in property management in 2010 as a Leasing Consultant and has worked her way up the corporate ladder to the Regional Manager position she holds today.  She has managed properties ranging in size from 72 - 300 units.

Kate is a graduate of The University of South Florida.  She holds the Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) designation and is a member of the Bay Area Apartment Association, the Florida Apartment Association and the National Apartment Association.

STEPHANIE TAYLOR

Transitions Coordinator & Director of Training

Stephanie has been with KRI since 2013. Initially, she managed several properties on the west side of Cleveland totaling approximately 180 units.  In 2016, Stephanie was promoted to the Regional Manager position and had overall responsibility for properties located in northern Ohio.

In her current position as Transitions Coordinator & Director of Training, she draws on her knowledge of every aspect of our business to ensure the critical phase of acquisitions and dispositions are completed efficiently.  Her role as Training Director puts her in the perfect position to make sure KRI’s culture, best practices and internal controls are implemented throughout the firm.

Nichole Sharp, CAM

Regional Manager Orlando/Daytona

Nichole joined KRI’s team in 2019 as a Regional Manager in Orlando, Florida.  She currently oversees our Orlando and Daytona area properties.  She started her career in property management in 2010 as a Leasing Consultant and has worked her way up the corporate ladder to the Regional Manager position she holds today.

Nichole has previously held various sales and management related positions with several large Florida based property management firms. Nichole is a member of the Apartment Association of Greater Orlando, the Florida Apartment Association and the National Apartment Association.

JuRene Mility

Regional Manager Tampa

JuRene joined KRI’s team in 2020 as a Regional Manager in Tampa, Florida.  She started her career in property management in 2005 as a Leasing Consultant/Occupancy Specialist and has worked her way up the corporate ladder to the Regional Manager position.  She has managed properties ranging in size from 25 - 665 units.

JuRene is a graduate of Kaplan University.  She holds several apartment related certifications including  Certified Housing Manager, Certified Occupancy Specialist, and the C3P Tax Credit Certification.  Finally, she is a member of the Bay Area Apartment Association, the Florida Apartment Association and the National Apartment Association.

Kenneth A. Gee

Managing Member

Mr. Gee is the founder and managing partner of KRI Partners and the KRI group of companies. He has more than 24 years of significant real estate, banking, private equity transaction and principal investing experience. Throughout his career, he has been involved in transactions valued in excess of $2.0 billion, much of which has included the acquisition, management and financing of various multi-family real estate projects as well as playing a significant role as a member of due diligence and transaction structure planning teams for several private equity firms specializing in the small and middle markets.

Prior to forming KRI Partners, Mr. Gee was a tax manager with Deloitte & Touche LLP where he focused his practice on state and local tax planning, merger and acquisition due diligence and transaction structure planning for private equity and middle market companies. Some of his major clients included The Riverside Company, Key Equity Capital Partners, Blue Point Capital, Linsalata Capital Partners, The Zaremba Group, Charter One Bank and Applied Industrial Technologies, Inc.

Prior to his career at Deloitte & Touche, Mr. Gee spent several years at National City Bank (now part of PNC Bank) where he served as commercial loan officer, credit analyst, branch manager, and mortgage loan originator during his career with the bank.

Unrelated to his real estate experience, Mr. Gee also owned and operated several certified Cessna Pilot Centers in the Northeast Ohio area. These Cessna Pilot Centers operated an FAA approved professional pilot school and specialized in the sale of new and pre-owned aircraft.

Mr. Gee is a licensed Ohio Certified Public Accountant. He received his master's degree from Case Western Reserve University's Weatherhead School of Management and his B.B.A. from the University of Toledo. He is a member of the National Apartment Association, Florida Apartment Association, Bay Area Apartment Association, Apartment Association of Greater Orlando, First Cost Apartment Association, Northeast Ohio Apartment Association, Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants and American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Carol McCallister.

CFO

Carol brings over 25 years of finance leadership experience with a diverse background from public accounting, insurance, technology, investments, manufacturing, and financial services industries. She is a strategic leader with hands-on knowledge in establishing financial controls and managing Accounting/HR/Compliance functions from start-up and private equity-backed ventures to the consolidation of multinational operations. She is particularly adept at streamlining processes, reorganizing, and motivating staff. Carol is a graduate of the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

Carol has been a resident of the Tampa Bay Area for 20 years. She loves Florida and will not live anywhere else. She believes in being a contributing member of her community. She has served as Treasurer of the Hillsborough County Council of PTA/PTSAs for 3 years. She has been very involved with the Toys For Tots program as a distribution site coordinator for 6 years and will continue to support it for as long as they need her.
